Old Business
The second pancake breakfast was a great success and lessons were learned for future breakfasts. The next breakfast will be in Late April but a specific data will be decided by the committee. The winner of the 50/50 was Linda Lally and she donated the winnings to the Good Shepherd Capital Campaign.
The Men’s Club purchased a CD/DVD player for the Parish Life Center to be used for future programs. A Parishioner donated a VCR recorder.
In addition an anonymous parishioner donated the funds to purchase a Video Projector, Audio System, and a cart. We now have a complete audio and Video capability in the Parish Life Center. Thanks to all. The Men’s club will learn to operate the equipment and the projector will be secured.
The Men’s club provided an overhead projector to the Parish life center for use in presentations in the conference room or the main gathering room. This projector was donated to the Men’s Club by the Lake Thurmond Sail and Power Squadron. In exchange for the donation, the Men’s club will provide cakes or other goodies when the Power Squadron has their Galley auction in the fall.
A discussion about obtaining chair carts resulted in the conclusion that we do not need carts. We will close this issue. We may consider adding a chair rail in the main gathering room to avoid damage to the walls when the chairs are stacked up against the wall.
The Men’s Club will be sponsoring a trip to the August Green Jackets Baseball game on June 30. We have reserved 50 tickets and will put them on sale in April on a first come first served basis. This will be a social event and tickets will be sold at cost of $7.00 each.

Ron Jones is Chairman and Paul Aube and Bill O’Neill will help with planning and refreshments. Dave Lorenzatti will handle publicity on the neighbor link and Mc Cormick Messenger.
The Men’s Club has been requested to support the Women’s Club in having a Good Shepherd Church Booth at the 125th Anniversary Celebration of Mc Cormick, South Carolina to be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007. Don Bruns will attend a planning meeting with the Women’s Club on 13 March to determine what needs to be done.
The Men’s Club has been requested to help clean up the Church Grounds on March 8 at 8:00 AM to pick up pine cones and other debris on the church grounds. We have also been asked by the ladies to wash the windows at Father’s house . We will do it after the clean up of the Church grounds, March 8th.
Several men volunteered to have their feet washed on Holy Thursday. If anyone else wished to support this, sign up with Rod Wurst.
7    Speaker for the evening
Thanks to John Kuech for providing the information about "Planning for Your Funeral". I hope all get in touch with John to discuss readings and music and other information you want, with a calm and quite atmosphere instead of a panic.

If anyone knows of a speaker or a topic they think would be of interest to the Men’s Club, please contact Rod Wurst, Don Bruns or Ed Talley
